“Hard work pays off, and I’m very happy for our client.”

“I was retained by a client I met overseas earlier this year. He had been a permanent resident (PR) of Canada since 2006, but his PR card expired a few years ago. He hasn’t been back in Canada since then. He is a stateless Palestinian and has a travel document from the Middle East. His family resides in Canada, having entered through the USA several years ago.”

CANADIAN TRAVEL DOCUMENT

“Fast forward to this year, and the man wanted to come to Canada to visit his family. However, his PR card had expired, and the US had cancelled his US visa, meaning he was unable to follow the route taken by his wife and children. I recommended he apply for a Canadian Travel Document. I worked very hard to get the documentation and other evidence required and made a compelling argument at an embassy in the Middle East earlier this year. Contrary to some skeptics saying it wouldn’t happen, we received news last week that the man has now received his Travel Document and can come to Canada to visit his family. Hard work pays off, and I’m very happy for our client.”
